Automation Process Specialist

DESCRIPTION
Main responsibilities
The Automation Process Specialist will be responsible of:
- Configuring parameters for customer projects.
- Validating programs using simulations.
- Evaluating, using simulation, performance improvement of new control logic for internal and sales purposes.
- Bringing feedback and input to programmers on the best logic to achieve performance and reliability.
- Participating to HMI design.
- Training operators. (On customer’s site)
- Doing pre-performance tests. (On customer’s site)
- Doing final performance tests and get signoff. (On customer’s site)
Requirements
- Experience in sawmill as quality control, electrician or production manager.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Proficiency in both oral and written English and French

The Automation Process Specialist must:
