ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend toolbox/safety meetings at start of shift
Work closely with Receiving and Procurement and provide back up support for Shipping Team
May be asked to expedite orders and shipments by phone or email in a courteous and professional manner
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area
Understand and exercise good time management for unloading carriers and process receiving goods to jobs and inventory according to established protocols
Be professional while engaging with vendors and carriers as well as co-workers

WHAT YOU CAN OFFER

Teamwork – crossing many different disciplines within our Company, will be able to handle multiple priorities
Computer skills, must be able to demonstrate typing ability
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of time organization and urgency
Able to work independently and within a team
Ability to work in all environments – inside and outside work required
Valid driver’s license
Ability to read a tape measure
A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines
Appropriate personal protection equipment, steel toe work boots, warm clothing for outdoor work, all weather
